Taegan is 6!

This is the first year that Taegan had to share her birthday with her baby sister.  She advertises that she and Rylee share the same birthday to everyone we meet, but as the day got closer, she occasionally questioned why everyone was making such a big deal over Rylee's upcoming birthday, and not hers.  So, we had to be careful that we mentioned what a big deal it was to be turning 6.  Here are a few things about Taegan:

Taegan loves attending kindergarten and loves that she is learning to read.  She is still a Momma's girl, though, and so frequently asks if I will come and have lunch with her at school because she doesn't like being away from home for so long.  She has this little "I love you" thing that she does every day before getting on bus where she puts her hands into the shape of a heart while she says it.  So cute! (but she has been known to cry on the bus if she forgets, or if I don't make it out to the bus stop.)

To say that Taegan loves to play the piano is an understatement.  The minute she walks in the door after school, she throws her backpack on the floor and runs to the piano to practice.  She is progressing really fast (and I'm a little worried that she is going to catch up to Brittlyn soon.)

She loves to play with Rylee and is a wonderful big sister!  We love Taegan's enthusiasm for life!

Now she can play her own music and audio CD books.
Thank you grandma and Grandpa Wright for the "little people" of our family (and thank you Aunt Sally for painting them!!!)
