Happy Birthday Brittlyn!

Brittlyn turned eight over General Conference weekend.  We celebrated her birthday after Paul, Nathan and Kelsye got back from Utah.  Her baptism is scheduled for October 24th -- wish you all could be there.  Here are some things that we love about Brittlyn:

She loves to sing -- especially Taylor Swift, Hannah Montana, and Selena Gomez

She is an excellent athlete -- she not only is talented, but she is a great team player as well

Brittlyn loves to be dramatic and loves things "fashionable" (which right now in the second grade means anything with peace signs, and leggings under skirts.)

She is spiritually sensitive.

As part of her "Wizards of Waverly Place" birthday party, we played a game called "the disappearing kid trick."  Brittlyn's team won.  (They were the first to wrap up a team member -- make her disappear -- in a roll of toilet paper.)
