Rylee just turned 9 months old. She is a petite little girl at 16 lbs. 10 3/4 oz. (15%), but is average for her height at 27". Here is a review of the things she has learned this past month:
Clap -(We went to the girls' recital last week and she clapped all through
their pieces, but not at the end when everyone else was clapping.)

Play Peek-a-boo -- She often puts her hands over just one of her eyes, so
she can still see you while you say "Where's Rylee?"

Squeal -- Rylee is going to be a soprano. She loves to squeal in delight.
Still loves to say "Da-Da" but she is a total Ma-ma's girl. She has become
stranger shy lately.

Here is the "cheaser." We love Rylee's big smiles.
This is the "scrunched up nose" face. She started doing this when Aunt Shelly came to visit. The funniest thing about this face is that it comes with a sound effect. As soon as she scrunches her nose, she starts sniffing really quickly like she is a dog
Rylee loves to blow raspberries!
Eight month old babies are my favorite because they nap and they can sit without support -- and they can't go anywhere. She has learned to scoot in the past week, but she's not too fast yet. Here is Nathan trying to teach her to crawl:

Rylee looks like she's so much fun!! Happy for the Mom that the baby naps!!!!
I love the video with Nathan teaching her to crawl. He would make a great coach. Rylee's faces pretty much kill me. She is soooo cute.
