Kelsye turned 12 on March 1st. She had a great day! The young women beehives and leaders at church have really gone all out in the last couple of weeks in welcoming her into their class. The weather was lousy all day, but Kelsye thought it another gift that the miserable rain turned to snow, which meant no school the next day.
This is the cake that we made for Kelsye. This was our first attempt to design a cake, we usually buy ice cream cakes. (It was Sunday and we forgot about getting one.) So,though we don't have anywhere near the skills in this area as Uncle Kevin or Aunt DeeAnn, the kids all enjoyed putting this together for Kelsye.
