My Trip to New York

Since Paul has spent most of the last few months in New York, I decided to go up and visit.  While he worked all day, I spent a couple of days touring New York City.  I visited the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the temple, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. 

You can only go up to the top of the pedestal now, but a "glass" ceiling shows you what the inside stairway looks like within the statue. (I think I'd have a difficult time walking all those stairs at 35 weeks pregnant.)

I didn't get to see Paul that often on my 2 1/2 day visit, but he did manage to get off work in time for us to go see Phantom of the Opera on Wednesday night.  He didn't get off in time for us to eat dinner beforehand, so this is a picture of us getting something to eat in the hotel lounge on the top floor of the Marriott afterwards.
