Mikaela and Brittlyn just finished their end-of-school piano recital. They both received special awards for being consistent practicers and for being participants in the piano guild festival. The necklaces with beads/charms that they are wearing represent points for minutes practiced, songs memorized, and concerts attended. Their teacher is really good at motivation strategies (Maybe I should hire her to figure out how to motivate my kids to do chores.) Mikaela got a trophy for earning the most points in her age group. The girls in her group class call her the memorizing machine.
