Spring Break on the Outer Banks

We spent 5 days on the Outer Banks in North Carolina over our spring break.  It was rather cold, windy, and sometimes rainy, but we had a great time.  This is the house that we rented.  We just had to cross the street and walk down a short path to the ocean.

This picture was taken on the stairs that lead down to the sandy beach.

You can see how red Taegan's face and legs are . . . it was so cold, but she loved playing in the sand.

The girls collected lots of sea shells.  They often got wet when the tide came up.  They were freezing!
