Visiting the Salt Lake City Cemetary

I arrived in SLC a day before DeeAnn, so I visited the SLC cemetary.  After several phone calls to Mom and DeeAnn, along with a lot of snow removal (the SLC cemetary crew should thank me for removing the snow off the majority of gravestones in plot J,) I managed to find Grandma and Grandpa Pitts, the Beesleys, and several of the Pitts' graves. I also visited President Hinckley's grave.  Afterwards, I went down to the new family history library in Salt Lake City before attending a temple session.  I attempted another search for information about Grandpa Pitts' maternal grandfather Johann Wuthrich.  I was taught how to find the Berne, Switzerland parish lists on microfiche, but there is not a computer searchable database yet -- the sister missionary said that at the current rate, the Swiss records will be digitized by 2030.  So if you have a lot of spare time on your hands and want to try to read church logs in German from all the parishes in Bern, I can teach you:)
