Here are a few pictures from Grandma Pitts' funeral. I'm glad that I was able to make the trip to Idaho (thanks Paul for rearranging your schedule.) After rereading Grandma's biography, I gained a new appreciation for her strength and ability to move on, no matter the trial. Although a somber occassion, I couldn't help but feel peaceful at the thought that she is now reunited with her husband and son who passed away so long ago, along with our Grandpa Pitts.

With most of the Pitts' cousins. We are standing on a hill -- I'm not really that much shorter, am I?
Even though we were together for a funeral, it was quite a fun weekend visiting with siblings (without our children) and relatives that we hadn't seen -- probably since Grandpa's funeral. Darren was Mr. Popular because he could talk "truck language" with all the relatives we didn't know worked in the trucking business. This is a picture of Shannon trying to stand in just the right position to find cell phone coverage in Bloomington, ID. Who knew that when we decided to plan a family reunion, we were also going to see each other at Shelly's wedding, Grandma Pitts' funeral, and now at Grandma Wrights' funeral (pictures in an upcoming blog.)
