Look Who got his Driving Permit

Nathan finally got to do his driving hours and so was able to apply for his driver's permit.  He passed easily with a 91% on the test.  So, since he had also gotten the highest score on his class exam, and frequently critiqued my driving, I figured he was a good driver (I hadn't actually driven with him yet.)  It was time to go to the church for tithing settlement and youth night, so after everyone piled in the van (Paul was driving there directly from work), Nathan asked if he could drive.  I said, "Sure," since we were on time and not in a hurry.  MISTAKE!!  The girls in the back were terrified and making comments and I thought it quite a miracle that we got there without crashing in to anything.  I kept having to grab the wheel and push him away from the side of the road.  He does okay if the road is straight and wide and he doesn't have to make any turns -- and if you know our neighborhood, it is none of the above.  We ended up being quite late to tithing settlement.
