Soccer Season

Soccer season just completed (yeah-- I have my Saturdays back.)  Here are some pictures from the girls' season.  We didn't get any good pictures of Taegan (soccer is all about the snacks after the game for Taegan.)  Here is an experience from one of Taegan's games: Dad: "Taegan.  You are the goalie.  When the ball comes to you, pick it up."  Taegan: "I'm not touching that ball. It has mud on it."

Mikaela likes to play defense.  She's very good at taking the ball away from the other team.  She and Kelsye were on the same team.  They were team Brazil, but they called themselves "the highlighters."  Taegan was also on team Brazil with the same colored shirts in her division.

Kelsye has great ball handling skills.  She likes to play offense.  She is called Monkey by her teammates (I have no idea where she came up with that a few years ago.)  She has a lot of spirit and leads her team in cheers when she is on the sideline.

                             

Brittlyn has scored several goals this season.  She plays well everywhere.  She can "read" the field and knows where to go and who to pass to.  She is a great team player.  She was on team USA and they won most of their games this season.
