Taegan's Prayer

I've been trying to help Taegan be a little more serious (as opposed to being fast and silly) when she says her prayers at night.  We had the sister missionaries over for dinner (that is a different story -- I hate when I forget that I've signed up to feed the missionaries and I don't get a day's notice because I didn't listen to my phone messages, and my husband has just left for London, and my kids are bouncing off the walls, and the sisters are trying to leave a spiritual message and my children are giving silly answers . . .)  Anyway, they asked the kids to say five things that they were grateful for when they said their prayers that night.  I decided to try this tactic with Taegan. Well, she decided that she could do that.  For the next few days she said the same 5 things each time she prayed.  For the last two days, she has been excited because now she has thought of  7 things that she is thankful for:  #6: "I'm thankful that our house hasn't burned down yet," and #7 "I'm thankful that no one has died." (I'm wondering if I should be a little worried about the word "yet.")
