Happy Mother's Day!

I've learned over the years that you have to be really careful as a mother, because your children really do watch and interpret things in their own way -- and broadcast it to the public.  Case in point -- the first grade classes at our school have a special "Mother's Day Tea" every year.  As part of that celebration, your child draws a picture of their mother, and underneath it writes about what their Mom looks like, what they like, etc.  The mother's have to go up to the bulletin board and guess which picture is theirs.  When Mikaela was in first grade, she wrote that her mother loves to eat lots of desserts.  This year, Brittlyn wrote that I like to say, "This room looks like a pig sty" and that I love to watch American Idol.  And to top this great holiday off, the primary presidency in our ward made a video of the kids answering questions about their Mom.  In answer to the question, "What is your Mom's favorite thing to do?" most children said "talk on the phone" or "play with me."  Taegan said, "Kiss my Dad on the lips."
