Okay, I know the title says "Christmas" and this is a picture from my birthday, but I didn't think that this picture deserved its own title. Anyway, this is me with my cake, new Belgium Waffle Maker and flowers for my birthday.

Here is Taegan. She insists on wearing dresses (and the occasional skirt/shirt) every day. So much for the hand-me downs from her 3 older sisters. They stay in the drawer if they are not "a beautiful dress." Her current preferred hairstyle is the "two ponytails -up" (which was not cool a few months back.) She is definitely the fashion conscious child in the family. She came home from preschool yesterday and said, "Emmie was wearing fabulous clothes today. She had on a fabulous belt."

Here is Brittlyn with her new Rock Star attire from Grandma (belated birthday gift.) She opened it up and said, "Grandma must know that I want to be a rock star!"

Kelsye with a new, much-needed watch from Grandma Anderson.
Taegan with her new dolls that she can practice hair-dos on. Santa had to fulfill her desire for a new doll because she went around telling everyone that she wanted a new doll for Christmas because her doll Tina's head was broken.

Family Christmas picture. We tried the bribery method with sour patch kids from Grandma approach this year. It worked for everyone but Kelsye. She at least agreed to stand facing the camera in this picture. Taegan is wearing her beautiful new costume jewelry (a birthday present from Grandma.)

Grandma Anderson gave Mikaela a new notebook and pencils to feed her writing habit.
