We came home from church and announced that it was time to take the picture for the family Christmas card. Surprisingly, everyone cooperated. We set up the tripod and took several pictures using the timer on the camera. We thought, "This is the first year there hasn't been a meltdown." Then we looked at the pictures . . . . Nathan had made funny faces in every picture. So, everyone had to come back and do it again. By the time we were done, I had promised icecream, the reading of two Christmas stories, the skipping of a nap, and the holding of a binky (but not in the mouth) in return for looking at the camera and smiling.
